The train and bus station can be reached in 5 minutes by car. The airport is situated in the nearby city of Fuenterrabia, 20 minutes by car from San Sebastián.
A walk across the Bay will lead you to the city's fisher's port, with its many restaurants and bars. Next to the port, you will find the lovely Accuarium- Donostia and close to that, the Paseo Nuevo, the area where the waves of the Bay of Biscay bang into the rocks, under the watchful eye of the Christ of the Sacred Heart on the Urgull mountain. Also close to the hotel, you can make a cable car trip to mount Igeldo, admiring the city from the highest point. Also close by: an amusement park in Belle Epoque-style.
